But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33

Our Mission

To see God awaken the Church to Prayer and vitality in order to better accomplish the Great Commission.

Our Vision

To see churches become houses of prayer, to see the gospel permeate the Church life, and see the nations turn to God in great numbers.

Prayer

We pray for God to accomplish His will; we stand as watchmen before God for His Kingdom to come.

Teaching/Learning

We desire like Paul to proclaim Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ (Col.1:28), by God’s grace.

Discipleship

We desire to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded us (Matt.28:19-20), as we lean on Him who is with us always living His life in and through us (Gal.2:20).

Direct Service To People

As we serve those God sovereignly brings in our lives, we are serving Him (Matt.25:40). Our love for people is the means that draws them to see Christ.

THE TRUMPET BLOWER MINISTRIES’

STATEMENT OF FAITH

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts and comprised of 66 books making up the Old and the New Testaments. The Bible is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Isaiah 8:20)

GOD

We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfection, and are worthy of all our worship, trust and obedience.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God who became incarnate; He is truly God and truly man. He was born of the virgin Mary through conception by the Holy Spirit. Through His perfect life and substitutionary death, He atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him alone for salvation. He was buried, raised, and is now seated at the right hand of God.

(John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:18; Philippians 2:6-8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 1:3)

HUMANITY

We believe that humans are created as male and female in the image and likeness of God but fell into sin through Adam, and are guilty and corrupted, needing salvation. All humans are sinners and are totally unable to save themselves from God’s wrath. Unless a person is born again, he/she cannot enter the kingdom of God.

(Genesis 1:27; John 3:3-5; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3; Jeremiah 17:9)

SALV ATION

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone as God sovereignly chooses those He will save, not based on individual human merit or foreseen faith, but according to His own good pleasure. Salvation includes regeneration by the Holy Spirit which produces increasing obedience and transformation into the image of Jesus.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 6:44; Titus 3:5)

THE CHURCH

We believe the church is a body of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit whose mission is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded, being the salt and light to the world. The church is also called to be identified with Christ in baptism and to remember His death in the Lord’s supper.

(Matthew 5:13-16; 28:19-20; Acts 2:38-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

THE END TIMES

We believe in the visible and bodily return of Jesus Christ who at the second coming will raise the believing dead and will receive the living believers. He will rule, reign and judge all humanity. Those who have been saved by faith in Him will share in His eternal kingdom and those who remain lost will face eternal torment in hell described as a fiery lake of burning sulfur.

(1 Thes 4:14-17; 2 Thes 1:7-19; Rev 20:12-15; Rev 21:8)

MARRIAGE

We believe that God’s design for marriage is for one man and one woman to be joined in Him and the two become one flesh; marriage is to reflect the relationship between Christ and the church. In God’s plan, death is the only thing that ends the marriage covenant.

(Genesis 2:24; Eph 5:22-33; Matthew 19:6)

SANCTITY OF LIFE

We believe that God is the giver of life which begins at conception and ends when He no longer gives breath to our lungs.

(Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 32:39; Act 17:25-28)
