5-Topic of the Day: Let us cry out to God that the Church would be awakened to engage in
prayer NOW—not only in individual prayer, but also in corporate prayer, in small group prayer,
in united prayer with many congregations, and in worldwide prayer among believers—for our
God has promised to hear and answer our prayers ( Ps.34:4,17; 2 Chr.7:14; Hebr.4:16; Lk.1:13; I
Jn.5:14-15; Matt.7:7; Mk.11:24; Jn.15:7. Let’s call on the Lord Most High to make His Church a
praying Church, by His grace.1 Thessalonians 5:17; 1 Timothy 2:1–4, 8; and Ephesians 6:18 are
some encouraging verses in regard to the command to pray.
2Chr.7: 14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and
heal their land.Ps.34:4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my
fears.Hebr.4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may
receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Eph.6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep
alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints
6- One Special Thing & Encouragement – Any encouragement God has given to anyone
7-Next Session’s Topic: Let us cry out to God, asking that He would give His Church a new and
fresh revelation of Himself—just as Isaiah experienced in Isaiah 6:1—which radically
transformed him. In awe and reverence, he willingly responded to God’s call, saying, “Here I
am. Send me” (Isaiah 6:8), when God was seeking someone to send. Note that it all began with
the prophet Isaiah seeing the Lord seated on a throne, high and lifted up. This is what we are
praying for: that the Church of Christ would, by faith and in repentance, behold the Lord exalted
on His throne and bow before Him in awe and reverence, serving our Great God in a manner
worthy of our Great King.
8- Closing Prayer and Thanksgiving – Thank You, Lord our God, for hearing our prayers and
receiving our thanksgiving, in Jesus' name. Amen.
